Kaitlin Harris Named New Head Volleyball Coach

Kaitlin Harris has been named Head Volleyball Coach at Rhodes. She has served as Assistant Volleyball Coach at Saginaw Valley State University the past three years and in 2012 helped lead the Cardinals to an 18-11 record, 15-4 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and an NCAA tournament berth.

A native of Bay City, Mich., Harris attended Saginaw Valley, where she had a record-setting career. In 2009 during her senior year, she was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All American team. She also was named the GLIAC Player of the Year and the Saginaw Valley Female Athlete of the Year.

“Kaitlin was the consensus choice of our search committee,” says Director of Athletics Mike Clary. “Her enthusiasm and energy, along with her playing and coaching career, will be a great asset to our volleyball program. We’re excited about Kaitlin joining the Rhodes community.”
