The induction ceremony was held on campus Feb.15.  Phi Alpha Theta promotes the study of history through the encouragement of good teaching, research and the exchange of learning history. It seeks to bring students and faculty together both intellectually and socially through their common interest in history. The Department of History and the Rhodes Phi Alpha Theta chapter also annually publish a student-led peer-reviewed journal, Rhodes Historical Review. The Rhodes Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta was established in the spring of 1990.
