Dr. John Bass of the Department of Music and director of Rhodes’ Mike Curb Institute for Music has published a commentary in The Philadelphia Inquirer titled “Lessons from Elvis on Inspiring Today’s Young People.”
The Rhodes MasterSingers Chorale, a semiprofessional ensemble at Rhodes College directed by Dr. William Skoog, will hold auditions for all voice parts for its 2017-2018 season. Open to the public, auditions will be held Tuesday, Aug. 22, between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at 613 University St., in McNeill Concert Hall (across from the Rhodes main campus).
