Paid Internships

Get a taste of the real world.

As a paid intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work on real-life projects under the guidance of a mentor. The salary you receive is in place of academic credit and may bring additional responsibilities, depending upon the position.

Most students in paid internships work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and/or 40 hours per week in the summer months. Pay ranges from $6.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on the work involved and your skill level.

Master of Science in Accounting students may hold paid internships or co-op positions. A co-op student works full-time (40 hours per week) during one academic semester—or during the summer—and then takes a full course load at Rhodes the following semester. Upon graduation, co-op students return to full-time employment with the internship company.
