Jumpstart

The year-long Jumpstart program helps first-year students get acquainted with college life and start thinking about majors, careers, and personal goals. Monthly programs cover topics such as transition into college, learning styles, self-assessment, time management, choosing a major, social skills, and more.

These programs are conducted through efforts from the Student Life departments, including Career Services, Counseling and Student Development, Student Activities, Orientation, and International Programs. Our goal is to meet the overall development needs of first-year students. Jumpstart is cosponsored by Career Services and the office of New Student Programs. For more information, please contact us at 901-843-3800 or 901-843-3815.
