Graduate Programs
Rhodes graduates are highly competitive applicants to graduate programs.
You’ve built a foundation for graduate study during your time at Rhodes. Career Services programs such as Grad School Week bring together faculty, alumni and grad school representatives from across the country to address concerns like:
- Identifying graduate programs in your field
- Preparing application strategies for competitive programs
- Financing grad school
Every semester, “Test Drive” allows you to try out various graduate school entrance exams (DAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, MCAT). And special programs cover writing resumes, filling out applications, selecting faculty references and other topics that will help you prepare for graduate school.
The statistics speak for themselves: in 2006, 69.6% of Rhodes graduates were accepted into their first-choice program. The Rhodes acceptance rate for medical school was 77.8% while the national average was 47.2%. And 96% of our graduates were accepted into law school, as compared with the national average of 63.1%
