Housing & Dining

East Village Lodge

We want all our students to thrive—not just survive—at Rhodes.

Seventy-five percent of Rhodes students live on campus. While we require on-campus housing for the first two years, most students remain for the convenience, security and social advantages of community living. All residence halls and on-campus apartments include:

  • High-speed, Wireless Internet access and cable TV
  • Phone service with voice mail, call waiting and caller ID
  • Free on-site laundry facilities (you buy the soap)
  • Secure entry with fob access
You may choose to live in a ′theme′ area of substance free or be a member of one of our Learning Communities. You can enter a preference for substance free theme housing on the housing questionnaire form or complete an application for a Learning Community on line.

Our food service offers something for everyone.

From traditional hot meals to salad bars, vegetarian and vegan options, deli food, pizza and sushi, the Catherine Burrow Refectory (“The Rat”), Lynx Lair and Middle Ground Coffee Shop offer plenty of culinary variety. And Rhodes meal plans are flexible—you can use them in all our food venues and select from three packages offering 7  (East Village only), 15 or 21 meals per week. We promise you won’t starve.
