The Publications Board is a semi-autonomous body of the Executive Branch of RSG which supervises all official student publications and establishes budgets for each.
The Board is composed of the Publications Commissioner, one representative elected from the First-Year, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes, two representatives elected at-large, and one representative from each of the four official student publications:
- Sou’wester – the student newspaper
- LynxTV - the student televistion channel (channel 70 on campus)
- Lynx – the student yearbook
Southwestern Review – the student literary magazine
The Publications Board allows the student publications of Rhodes College to serve as a primary forum for examining and refining ideas, perspectives, and opinions of differing origins. It is governed under the Publications Board Constitution (PDF).
