My name is Julz Anderson, and I am a Music major and Business minor.  I studied abroad in Milan, Italy during the spring semester of 2009.  I studied through IES because it was flexible program allowing me to take private harp lessons along with art classes at a different University. I lived in an apartment with three other American girls and took Italian classes along with music and art classes.  Milan was a fun, bustling city that still had the feel of Italian culture.  I got to meet many Italians and was able to learn their language and love their culture.  I was also able to travel to eight other countries by train, boat, and plane, all of which were affordable and accessible.  I loved Milan because I was never bored.  There was something always to explore.  Studying abroad was an eye opening experience that I will never forget.
