Justine Evans
Major: International Studies
Minor: Religious Studies.
I studied German at the Goethe Institut in Bremen, Germany during a Rhodes Maymester the summer after my sophomore year (May 2008).
I also studied Arabic, the Arab-Israeli Conflict, and Islam at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan Spring semester 2009 of my Junior year through CIEE.
My name is Justine Evans and I have studied abroad in both Germany and Jordan. In Germany, I lived with a host family and studied German. It was a great experience and I made life-long friends and greatly improved my language skills. I spent the spring semester of my Junior year in Amman, Jordan. Living in the Middle East was the best experience of my life. I had the opportunity to experience a culture about which many Americans have misconceptions. I traveled throughout the region, met many amazing people, and gained a new outlook on life. I went to Jordan through CIEE, an amazing program that allows students to really immerse themselves in a culture and to truly become a local.
