Adding Upper-Level Biology Courses
The Department of Biology utilizes a centralized procedure to consider requests for addition to its upper level classes. After the preregistration system has assigned classes, students seeking to add an upper level course must complete and submit a form (available from the Department Chair), even if they previously corresponded with an advisor, professor, or department chair. Completed forms must be turned by the due date on the form, normally one week from the availability of schedules, for consideration.The department will make every effort to consider all student needs, but it is possible that only the most pressing needs can be met. However, the information provided on the form will help the department anticipate future demand and work to respond accordingly.
