International Study

Whether through field studies in Namibia as a part of Rhodes Environmental Issues in Southern Africa course, through Bio 160: An international Experience in Health Care, or through one of a variety of exchange or individual enrollment options, many biology students spend part of their time away from Rhodes in study abroad..  Majoring in biology or preparing for the health professions can present a scheduling challenge; however, certain programs make it easier by offering courses that satisfy particular requirements.  If you wish to enhance your educational experience with study abroad, begin your planning early by consulting your academic advisor and visiting the Buckman Center for International Education.
