A native Memphian and graduate of Louisiana State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nyasha discovered the value of a liberal arts education from a different side than most. "I knew I wanted a college that would give me small, intimate classes, but booming social experiences. I had no idea that a place like that existed in my own back yard." As an Assistant Director of Admission, Nyasha is able to share her insight with students who think they have to trade an exciting social life for a quality academic experience. "The unique thing about Rhodes is that, unlike most small, nationally ranked liberal arts colleges that are typically in rural areas, Rhodes is in the heart of a major city - Memphis. This is allows for exciting social and professional opportunities, but, more importantly, it provides students countless opportunities to immediately apply what they're learning in the classroom to world outside."
Nyasha enjoys going to Memphis Grizzlies games, eating at local restaurants, and acting at one of the local theatres.
Nyasha's territories include Mississippi and West Tennessee public schools and she coordinates multicultural recruitment for the Office of Admission.
