Editors and reporters across the USA Today Network-Tennessee, which includes The Commercial Appeal, selected 18 people to watch in 2018. Rhodes College President Marjorie Hass is one of them.
According to The Commercial Appeal article featuring the individuals representing areas from business and sports to education and entertainment, Hass says, “We are taking very seriously both the opportunities and the responsibilities of being located in Memphis.”
She also says that Rhodes will be launching a strategic planning process for the college and plans to deepen its relationship with Memphis through a planned expansion of its urban-education offerings.
Hass became Rhodes’ 20th president July 2017.
