Media Center
The Media Center, located in room 31 of the lower level in Barret library, houses more than 2,400 videos and other media formats to supplement academic instruction and to provide entertainment for members of the Rhodes community. The Media Center now houses the music collection formerly located in the Music Library in Hassell Hall.

Videos may be checked out by Rhodes students, faculty and staff for a loan period of three days. Loan limits and overdue fines for videos, audiobooks and other library materials are enumerated on the Check-Out Desk page. See Library Catalog for available titles.
Ordering Videos
To order videos or DVDs contact Rose Ann Hicks in the Media Center, x3886. Please allow ample time for delivery. If the vendor has the item(s) in stock, the average delivery time is one week.
Reserves & Viewing Carrels
Videos, dvds and other media formats which have been placed on reserve are kept in the Media Center. The loan period for these materials is usually two hours, and they may not be taken out of the library.

Three viewing rooms on the lower level of the library are available for student use. Each room has a 42-inch High Definition plasma screen and DVD, VHS, laptop, and cable television display capability. The two smaller rooms seat six, and the larger room seats ten.
