Group Study Room Policies

The primary purpose of Barret′s group study rooms is to offer space to groups ranging from 2 to 16 persons to engage in group conversations or study.  If the room is not being used to full capacity, please ask those in the room if you may share the space.  Use of the study rooms is limited to Rhodes students, faculty, and staff.

Unless other arrangements have been made, the group study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

The Library is not responsible for items left unattended in the study rooms. When you leave the room, please take your belongings with you and do NOT leave them to “reserve” the room until your return.  Any "left items" will be taken to the Library′s Lost and Found area at the Checkout Desk, first level.

Please make every effort not to disturb other library users by loud conversations in the group study rooms.

Please abide by the Library′s food and drink policy – drinks in covered containers, no food.

Groups using the white boards should use only library-approved (non-permanent) markers.

Group study rooms should be left in good condition - please straighten the furniture, erase the white boards, and discard any garbage.

All rooms have Ethernet connections, wireless access and white boards. Click on a room number to view a photo of the room.
