  • *America: History and Life
    Covers over 2,000 journals published worldwide. In addition to covering all key English-language historical journals, America: History and Life coverage includes selected historical journals from major countries, state and local history journals, and a targeted selection of hundreds of journals in the social sciences and humanities. Over 90% of the articles included are published in English-language journals.
  • *Cambridge Scientific Abstracts
    Offers abstracts and citations of a wide range of research in biomedicine, biotechnology, zoology, and ecology, and some aspects of agriculture and veterinary science. Research areas covered include the expansive fields of molecular biology and genetics, microbiology (including diseases), virology, toxicology, and neuroscience; the database also features coverage of specialized topics such as chemoreception, calcified tissue, entomology and marine biotechnology.
  • *ERIC
    Educational Resources Information Center has represented the most complete bibliography of educational materials available since 1966. The ERIC database is a guide to published and unpublished sources on thousands of educational topics, with information from RIE (Resources in Education) and CIJE (Current Index to Journals in Education). CIJE covers over 980 journals. ERIC records now include approximately 1,200 full-text documents from the ERIC Digest at no extra charge. The ERIC database includes the ERIC thesaurus, a complete list of descriptive terms used by ERIC to index and search the database.

    Use this database to research topics in health and medicine, medications, and wellness. Includes encyclopedias, directories, medical dictionary, magazines, journals, and newspapers.

    Over 1600 science journals ranging from "Abstracts in Hematology & Oncology " to "Zoomorphology". Millions of articles are available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions.
  • *Medline or PubMed or PubMedCentral
    From the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Covers all areas of medicine, including clinical medicine, experimental medicine, dentistry, nursing, health services administration, nutrition, and much more. Indexes over 3,900 journals (most with abstracts). Now includes a backfile covering 1965-1984, increasing the coverage to 1965-present. Now includes the MeSH thesaurus.
  • *Professional Collection   
    Articles from more than 300 full-text periodicals covering a variety of topics for teachers/educators, including: health and fitness, school law, drug and alcohol abuse, learning disabilities, sports, arts and humanities, social sciences, and psychology.
  • *Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection
    This database provides nearly 575 full text publications, including nearly 550 peer-reviewed titles. Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection covers topics such as emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods. Nearly every full text title included in this database is indexed in PsycINFO. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.
  • *PsycINFO (1887 -)
    PsycINFO, from the American Psychological Association (APA), contains nearly 2.3 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as the 1800s. 97 percent of the covered material is peer-reviewed. Journal coverage, which spans 1887 to present, includes international material selected from approximately 2,050 periodicals in more than 25 languages.
  • *Sociological Abstracts (1952-)
    Abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,800+ serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers.

    Electronic access to full text articles, page images, article abstracts, and citations from over 4,000 journals.     PsychExperiments is an on-line cognitive and social psychology laboratory site that has been developed with funding from the U.S. Department of Education′s FIPSE program (Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education) and from NSF′s Course Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement program.  The site consists of a set of interactive experiments, a cumulative data archive, download utilities for both data and experiment source code, downloadable Excel macros for analyzing data from the experiments, and support materials for those who want to use and/or develop experiments at the site.
