Jessee Named SCAC Player of the Week

Crystal Jessee of Rhodes College, a senior middle blocker from Memphis, Tenn.,along with Kim Hammer from DePauw University have been selected the SCAC Volleyball Co-Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 23 through Sunday, October 29.

Jessee had 31 kills with only four errors on 63 attempts for a .429 hitting percentage in three wins at the Maryville (Tenn.) College Fall Classic. She also had 19 total blocks on the weekend, including 10 blocks in a win against Maryville and seven blocks in a win over Washington and Lee. Jessee averaged 2.82 kills per game and 1.72 blocks per game on the weekend for the Lynx as they improved to 23-10 on the season.
