Jensen Named SCAC Player of the Week

Laura Jensen, a first-year setter from Daphne, Ala., and Sara Buros, from Trinity University, have been selected the SCAC Volleyball Co-Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 18 through Sunday, September 24.

Jensen was instrumental in helping Rhodes finish 4-0 this weekend at the SCAC East Divisional. The Lynx did not lose a single game over the weekend. In four matches, Jensen directed the Lynx offense to the tune of 141 assists for an 11.75 assist per game average. In addition, she had 20 kills and hit .378. Jensen averaged 4.17 digs per game on the weekend with 50 total digs, and added seven service aces and five blocks. After starting the season 0-7, Rhodes has now reeled off 10 straight wins.
