Delavan Named SCAC Player of the Week

Katherine Delavan, a first-year outside hitter from San Antonio, TX, and Becca Harpham, from Austin College, have been selected the SCAC Volleyball Co-Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 16 through Sunday, October 22.

Delavan was huge for the Rhodes at the SCAC East Division tournament as the Lynx went 4-0 to finish a perfect 8-0 against inter-divisional competition. In the four matches, Delavan had 66 kills with only 12 hitting errors on 158 attempts to hit .342 on the weekend. She averaged an amazing 5.07 kills per game.

Along with her outstanding front row play, Delavan was a strong presence in the back row accumulating 46 digs on the weekend for a 3.54 digs per game average.
