In the second year that Rhodes sponsored a men's swimming and diving team, the team competed in dual meets at Delta State University and Hendrix College, as well as competing in meets at Henderson State University and University of Arkansas (Little Rock) that included Division I & II teams.

In the 2000 conference meet at Depauw University, the men came in fifth place out of eight teams with a score of 293. This was one place higher than the team's first attempt in the 1998-1999 season, when they finished sixth out of eight teams. 1999-2000 results appear below.
