Rhodes Men's Soccer defeats Hendrix College, 2-1

	Freshmen led the Lynx in scoring on Friday as Rhodes defeated Hendrix College (AR) 2-1 at Rhodes College Field. Forward Logan Eberly (Evansville, IN) and Allen Orgeron (New Orleans, LA) each scored a goal to guide the Lynx to their first victory in SCAC action.
The Lynx are 1-3-1 in conference play and 3-8-3 overall in the 2006 season.
In the third minute of the game, Logan Eberly received the ball in the box from a cross by junior midfielder Chris Chugden (Mandeville, LA) and netted his team leading fourth goal of the year. The score would be tied in the 32nd minute as Kevin DeStefano received a long ball over the top and slotted it home. Heading into the second half, the Lynx controlled the pace of the game and had three shots before Orgeron received a ball from Patrick Deveau on the right side and dribbled it into the box and beat the goalkeeper to the back post for the game winner. It was Orgeron's first career goal and first game-winner.
The Lynx are back in action on Sunday at 12:00 noon as they take on Austin College (TX). Rhodes and Austin College last met in 2005, with Austin College winning 1-0 on a penalty kick.
