SAAC Names Student-Athletes of the Month

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee has selected freshmen Reid Hamilton and Kristin Forbes (Nashville, TN) as the Student-Athletes of the Month for January.

For the month, Hamilton averaged 10.3 points a game and 6.7 rebounds a game, and recorded his first career double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds in a 70-68 overtime loss to Hendrix. On the season, he is 4 th for the Lynx in both scoring and rebounding.

Forbes led an impressive group of first-year runners at the opening meet of the year breaking the 400 meter school record in a time of 58.99, lowering the previous mark of 1:02.59. Her time was only three tenths off of an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. During the weekend of January 27 th at Rose Hulman, Forbes led the 4x400 team to a 1 st place finish in the last event of the day, with a time of 4:02.18, one of the fastest times in NCAA Division III this year
