Ben Butler received his B.A. from Bowdoin College in 2000 and his M.F.A. in sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2003.  Solo exhibitions of his sculptures and drawings have been shown in Chicago at Zg Gallery, in New York at Coleman Burke Gallery and Plane Space, at John Davis Gallery in Hudson New York, and at Suyama Space in Seattle, among other venues.  He is the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Individual Artist Grant and has attended numerous artist residencies including the MacDowell Colony, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, and the Ucross Foundation.
