You can help teach students about “the Real World.”

The Career Network connects Rhodes students with successful alumni who can provide counseling and support. Here’s how you can become involved:

• Shadow Program. Students visit alumni at their workplaces to observe a typical day on the job. The timeframe and extent of the visit are set by the alumni.
• Internships. For students, internships may be paid, unpaid, or for academic credit. To post an internship or job opportunity for a Rhodes student, visit Information for Employers on the Career Services web site.
• Speaking Engagements. Alumni regularly participate in panel discussions about a range of careers. Career Services can tailor an event to focus on your area of expertise.
• Informational Interviews. Students converse with professionals by phone, in person or via e-mail, to learn about strategies for success in a chosen field or position.
