Career Network
You can help teach students about “the Real World.”
The Career Network connects Rhodes students with successful alumni who can provide counseling and support. Here’s how you can become involved:
- Shadow Program. Students visit alumni at their workplaces to observe a typical day on the job. The timeframe and extent of the visit are set by the alumni.
- Internships. For students, internships may be paid, unpaid, or for academic credit. To post an internship or job opportunity for a Rhodes student, visit Information for Employers on the Career Services web site.
- Speaking Engagements. Alumni regularly participate in panel discussions about a range of careers. Career Services can tailor an event to focus on your area of expertise.
- Informational Interviews. Students converse with professionals by phone, in person or via e-mail, to learn about strategies for success in a chosen field or position.
For more information about any of these opportunities, contact Career Services at 901-843-3800.
