Welcome, Class of 2012!
As the Director of New Student Programs, I would like to be the first of many to welcome you to the Rhodes College family!
Everyone on campus is excited to have you join us next fall. In order to make you feel at home by the time you arrive in the fall, we are holding the Open Rhodes summer orientation and advising program. There are four sessions to choose from, June 23 & 24, June 26 & 27, July 7 & 8 and July 10 & 11. If you have not received it yet, be on the lookout for the Open Rhodes Resource Book in your mailbox. Think of this handbook as as a insiders guide to Rhodes. It is full of information that you will need to begin thinking about to prepare for Open Rhodes and next fall.
In order to stay up to date and informed, be sure to regularly check the website for updates. While the dates are correct, please know that some of the event details will change. We are still working to create a meaningful and memorable orientation experience for you. The information on the website will give you an excellent idea of what you will be doing during Open Rhodes and Welcome Week.
With the Resource Book, you will also receive your username and password so you can begin using Rhodes email and other online systems. Be sure to look for messages from students, faculty and staff about ways you can get involved and stay connected, like joining the Facebook group for the Rhode College Class of 2012.
