New Student Programs Staff

As the Director of New Student Programs, Marcus is a resource for first-year students as they transition to the Rhodes community.  He is responsible for the management and coordination of Open Rhodes, Welcome Week and the first-year mentoring program.  He also co-coordinates the Jumpstart program with the Assistant Director of Career Services.  Additionally Marcus works with first-year students who may be in need of support due to an academic or personal situation.  

Dan Schrader ‘10 is the 2008 Orientation Intern.  In this role he assists with the overall planning, coordination and implementation of all Orientation programs.  Dan is chemistry major, interested in medical school, from Little Rock, AR.  On campus Dan is involved in Rhodes Student Government, Rhodes College Diplomats, and the Kinney Program.  He is also a volunteer in the trauma center at the Regional Medical Center of Memphis (the MED).

Haley Law ‘09 is the 2008 Peer Assistant Intern.  In this role she assists with the planning, coordination and implementation of the first-year mentoring program.  Haley is an English major from Birmingham, Alabama.  On campus Haley is involved in the Rhodes Student Associate Program for the Chaplain/Community Service office, the Diplomat program as the Student Recruitment Chair, and Tuesday Fellowship.
