After looking for a college that incorporated the academics, experiences, and environment she was looking for, Jessi found Rhodes College and began her Memphis adventure in 2004. This proved to be an amazing decision as Rhodes provided just the college experience she was looking for – internships, interesting classes, and a semester studying abroad. After four amazing years, Jessi graduated in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and shortly thereafter received her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Memphis. During her time at U of M, Jessi had the opportunity to be a member of a local research team and truly study the city. Those two years allowed for great exploration and fostered an even deeper appreciation in Jessi of the rich culture and exciting adventures Memphis has to offer. Her loves of Memphis and Rhodes combined when she became a Senior Assistant Director of Admission for Rhodes College.
When she isn’t on the road in the Midwest or Mississippi, you can find Jessi at the occasional trivia game, cheering on her Memphis Grizzlies, or eating her favorite dish at Kwik Check – Bi Bim Bop.
