8PM - Goodnight Mr. Wilson one-man performance by Charles S. Dutton, at Rhodes College McCoy Theatre. Reception following.

Thursday September 20
6PM - Keynote address by Dr. Sandra Shannon from Howard University, at the University of Memphis’ Rose Theatre, entertainment lobby

Friday September 21
7PM – Joe Turner’s Come and Gone staged reading and discussion at Art Village Gallery, 412 South Main. Reception following.

Saturday September 22
10AM – Continental Breakfast and discussion of Romare Bearden at McCoy Theatre, Dr. David McCarthy, facilitator

11AM – Lecture: “August Wilson’s Women,” Dr. Ladrica Menson-Furr (University of Memphis), at McCoy Theatre

12PM – Lecture: Dr. Yolanda Williams Page (University of Arkansas), at McCoy Theatre

1PM – Lunch provided at McCoy Theatre

2PM – Lecture: Joyce Cobb, at McCoy Theatre

6PM – For dinner, we suggest Quetzal at 668 Union Ave, across the street from Hattiloo.

8PM – The August Wilson Song Book, performed at Hattiloo Theatre, 656 Marshall (901-525-0009)

9:30PM – Finale Party with Joyce Cobb and the Orange Mound Jazz Messengers at Zoras, adjacent to Hattiloo Theatre.
