Jessica Anschutz (′00): Through my course work as a religious studies major, I learned to think critically, affirmed my passions in service and social justice, grew in my faith, studied world religions and developed an ecumenical perspective. I had the opportunity to participate in several service-learning classes, which gave me the opportunity to relate my course work to the community service and issues of social justice, as well as introduced me to many of the non-profit agencies in Memphis. My experiences in the Religious studies program at Rhodes led me into my current position as the Community Service Coordinator.
