Patrick Gray is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, specializing in the New Testament. He received his Ph.D. in religion from Emory University. Previously he has taught at Emory and at Oglethorpe University, as well as in Japan. He is the author of Godly Fear: The Epistle to the Hebrews and Greco-Roman Critiques of Superstition, and is the co-editor of three other books on the Bible, the history of biblical interpretation, and Hellenistic philosophy.
