Luther Ivory, assistant professor, received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Tennessee and his Doctor of Ministry from Union Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Prof. Ivory served in the Navy for five years as lieutenant and was ordained as a minister of the Word and Sacraments by the Presbytery of Memphis [Presbyterian Church (USA)] to pursue the vocation of teaching. In addition to teaching at Rhodes, Prof. Ivory is pastor at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church USA in Memphis.
