Study Abroad

The Rhodes Summer French Program takes place in May and/or June, normally in Paris at the EUROCENTRE INSTITUTE or comparable Institute.  This course includes four weeks of intensive immersion in French at the Institute as well as a home-stay with a French-speaking family.  It also features cultural field trips that are coordinated by the Rhodes faculty traveling with the group.

This course is the equivalent of a semester’s work in French at Rhodes and therefore carries four credits.  It can be taken to fulfill Rhodes’ 201-202 basic language requirement (French 205) or it can count towards a French minor (French 305) or a major (French 308).
