The Department of International Studies at Rhodes is somewhat unique in that we have the infrastructure of an entire academic department devoted to international studies. Our department, which features seven full-time faculty members and approximately 70 majors, offers courses in the areas of international relations, political economy, foreign policy and comparative politics.
As a department, we offer unique opportunities for students, including undergraduate research opportunities, student simulations such as Model United Nations, a self-published scholarly journal and a variety of internships—both in Memphis and abroad.
