My research interests focus on the coordination chemistry of the transition metals with a particular interest in the chemistry of five-coordinate copper(II). Projects in my laboratory involve the synthesis of new compounds and the characterization of these compounds using infrared spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction analysis.
