New York City Career Tour
The second annual New York City Career Tour, presented by the Department of Economics and Business, took place January 1-4, 2008. Department Chair Deborah Pittman and Professor John Planchon from the Department of Economics and Business and Holly Hilliard from Alumni Relations led a group of 24 students on visits to the following Wall Street financial institutions: Bank of America, Bear Stearns, Capmark Financial, Credit Suisse, FactSet Research Systems, Hawkshaw Capital, JP MorganChase, Merrill Lynch and Tricadia Capital. Department offers first Maymester
Professor John Planchon and will lead a group of 27 students on the department’s first Maymester to Antwerp,Belgium this summer. During the program, which runs from May 15 through June 5, 2007, students will study international business at the University of Antwerp. (Read more...)
Survey of M.S. in Accounting Graduates Speaks Highly of Program’s Achievements
Rhodes College has offered a Masters in Accounting degree since 1994 in conjunction with the Economics & Business Department. The department recently sent a survey to all M.S. in Accounting graduates, in order to track progress toward the program’s goals. (Read more...)
