Transfer Credit

Approval for transfer credit must be obtained from the chair of the department in which the course is listed. Courses approved for transfer will satisfy the requirements for the BMB major with the following stipulations. No more than two courses beyond Biology I and General Chemistry I and II may be taken as transfer credit and only one of the required upper level courses [i.e. Organic Chemistry (where two semesters of Organic Chemistry are considered one “course”), Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology] may substituted with transfer credit.
