The Mathematics & Computer Science Department offers majors and minors in mathematics and computer science. There are eight full-time faculty members, with a wide variety of research interests including topology, differential equations, algebraic combinatorics, probability and statistics, differential geometry, operating systems, and computational geometry.

The Department offers courses of study that meet the needs of a wide variety of students. As mathematics is one of the foundations of the physical sciences and a tool of virtually all the disciplines, the department seeks to give the student competence in the discipline as well as develop the ability to think analytically. The importance of the computer continues to grow at a rapid rate, and the department also seeks to prepare students in the field of computer science. More about the Department...
