Welcome to the Environmental Physiology and Conservation (EPAC) laboratory at Rhodes College. Since 2008, our lab group has been conducting research on various aspects of amphibian and reptile biology.

Our primary foci are environmental physiology, urban ecology, and conservation physiology and we combine lab experiments with field studies to address hypotheses regarding specific mechanisms in an ecologically relevant context. We are fortunate to conduct research in the laboratory and at field sites from urban Memphis, Tennessee U.S.A. to rural Foping, Shaanxi Province, China.
