Professor Streete has recently finished a book on martyrdom and gender. The book is entitled Redeemed Bodies: Women Martyrs in Early Christianity. It will be available for purchase this summer through Westminster John Knox Press.

Rashna Richards

The Namesake
Professor Richards’s research interests include film history, critical theory, and transnational cultural studies. She is currently working on a project that draws together feminist film theory, postcolonial criticism, and transnational cultural studies to explore how the locations and dislocations of immigration influence notions of love and (arranged) marriage in the Indian diaspora.

Michelle Voss Roberts

Dr. Voss Roberts’ main research areas are Christian and Hindu theology. Her book, Dualities: A Theology of Difference (Westminster John Knox Press, forthcoming 2010), considers women’s voices in both traditions in order to rethink the feminist critique of dualism. She has studied in India and plans to return in 2010 to begin a new project on the role of the body in religious identity.
