International Year of Astronomy Events

2009 has been declared the International Year of Astronomy. This is a global effort initiated by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and UNESCO to help the citizens of the world rediscover their place in the Universe through the day- and night-time sky, and thereby engage a personal sense of wonder and discovery. IYA events are happening all over the world in 2009, and Rhodes is excited to participate with events listed on this page.
