About the Program:

The Environmental Studies program is designed to complement any major in the College by focusing student attention on courses and experiences related to environmental issues.

Students who are interested in the environment can take courses in both Environmental Science and Environmental Studies. Combined, these courses of study provide new opportunities for students that link academic and applied learning, with a balanced focus on policy, history, natural science and work in the community.

Students with career interests in environmental law, environmental justice, environmental policy formulation, environmental impact assessment, or environmental education can position themselves to be leaders in addressing some of the world’s most pressing issues.
