Faculty Concert Series: Bob Sunda, Bass

Bob Sunda is a rare combination of international recording artist, performing musician and motivated mentor. He trained at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy, where he displayed a prodigious aptitude as a bassist and pianist. A move to New York gave him time to study and play with masters of the Jazz form. Touring in the Pacific Rim and starring with his own band gave Sunda a commercial/corporate edge. Recognized as an All-Star, he returned to New Orleans to perform and teach, then relocated to Memphis after Katrina.
