Planning Your Visit
Most students who visit Rhodes plan on spending at least a half day with us so they can gain a full understanding of all that the College has to offer.
We ask that you schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance in order for us to personalize your time on campus.
Maximize Your Visit
Tour the Campus
Our volunteer tour guides will give you the straight story about what it′s like to live and learn at Rhodes. We recommend that everyone who visits campus have a campus tour.
Get the Details - Get the Facts
An admissions counselor will cover everything you need to know about admissions, fellowships, and financial aid as well as provide general information about the College. You and your parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Information sessions are the perfect opportunity for first-time visitors to gain a broad perspective of Rhodes.
Meet with an Admissions Officer
While an individual meeting is not required, it is a great opportunity for you to meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor. Come prepared to talk about your goals and interests, as well as any questions you have about the College.
Attend a Class
Here is your chance to sample a course and see Rhodes′ superb faculty and talented students in action. We will do our best to match your class visit to your academic interests.
Talk with an Expert
You also have the opportunity to schedule a meeting with a professor from your area of academic interest, a coach, or a member of the financial aid staff. Financial aid officers will be happy to answer your questions about need-based financial aid.
Stay Overnight
We invite high school seniors and transfer students to spend one night, Sunday through Thursday, in a residence hall with a student host. Spending the night on campus is the best way to envision yourself as a student here.
