First-Year Students, we welcome you to Rhodes College and Returning Students, welcome back! In the next few months first-year students will be transitioning rapidly – intellectually, socially, and psychologically. Upper-class men and women will be leading the way as knowledgeable mentors, assistants, and friends to the first-year students. To assist all of you in the process, we have included the following information in your planner:

  • The Academic Calendar for 2008 – 2009
  • The Hours of Operation for Student Services Offices
  • The Student Handbook
  • A Planner to help you keep track of your classes, assignments, meetings, and other obligations

As Rhodes students, you are responsible for all of your interactions with the College. The Student Handbook will guide you in these interactions. It includes: Rhodes Vision, Student Conduct, Academics, Student Services, Campus Policies, Campus Safety Policies, Residence Hall Policies, Student Governance Organizations Constitutions, and Federal Regulations relating to student privacy. 

We ask that you please rely on the web calendars for the correct time and location of campus events. Best wishes for a successful year!
