Congratulations to Associate Professor of English, Gordon Bigelow; 2010 recipient of the Clarence Day Award for Outstanding Teaching!

The Clarence Day Award for Outstanding Teaching is awarded annually to a faculty member whose teaching is deemed excellent based on the previous three years of student and colleague observations. The Day Award for Teaching recognizes accomplishments in motivating students through innovative teaching methods to embrace the liberal arts principles of lifelong learning and critical thinking.  

Previous winners include Professors Tina Barr, Marshall Boswell, Brian Shaffer, Jennifer Brady & Cynthia Marshall.
