Ways to Give

You may contribute to the Campaign for Rhodes in three ways: Annual Fund, Capital/Endowed Gifts and Planned Gifts. Our staff is available to speak with you about the many options you might consider.
Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide critical income that bridges the gap between the endowment and tuition. Because Annual Fund gifts are unrestricted, they are applied to the college’s many budgeted expenses, such as fellowships, faculty support, student activities, technology updates and building and grounds maintenance.
Anyone may contribute to the Annual Fund, which encompasses unrestricted donations made during a fiscal year (July 1 through June 30 of the following calendar year).
Gifts may be made by cash, check, credit card, automatic bank deduction or stock transfer. You also may use our secure online form.
Endowed Support
Your gift to the endowment reflects your commitment to help Rhodes progress beyond excellent to extraordinary.
Our development officers will help you identify an area of need within the four imperatives that most resonates with your interests—such as student fellowships, faculty development, endowed chairs or other areas that support the Rhodes Vision.
These outright gifts have the most immediate impact on college needs, and they offer you the greatest tax benefits and savings. You may pledge to make a contribution over a period of several years. Payments can be scheduled to meet your needs. Typically, they are completed within a five-year period. Multi-year pledges offer significant tax advantages. Please contact a member of our staff for more information.
Planned Giving
You may arrange a gift to Rhodes in the context of your current financial plan, retirement plan, or estate plan. To learn more, contact Sue Matthews (901-843-3919/800-264-5969) or visit rhodes.edu/plannedgiving.
