Darrell Cobbins ’97 to Take Part in National Study

Darrell Cobbins ’97 has been selected to take part in a national study to gauge the various political and urban issues in African American communities. The study is being conducted by the Taubman Center for State and Local Government at Harvard University.
The Memphis Daily News quoted Cobbins as saying, "I am honored to have been selected among a group of national thought leaders to participate in this monumental study of black leadership in America.”
Cobbins, who holds a B.A. degree in sociology from Rhodes, is president and chief executive officer of Memphis-based Universal Commercial Real Estate LLC. He also serves on the Rhodes Alumni Executive Board.
