Christi Mobley


Study Abroad Advisor

Christi Mobley is a doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology and Research department at the University of Memphis. Christi received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and her Master of Science degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. During college, Christi had the opportunity to study indigenous cultures in Australia and New Zealand, as well as participating in an earthquake relief trip to El Salvador. These experiences allowed Christi to explore her desires to advocate for the mental health needs of those less fortunate. She has been with the Buckman Center since August 2008, advising students on all aspects of the study abroad process.
