If you are an international student at Rhodes, THANK YOU for bringing your experiences, skills, perspectives, and ideas to our community. We hope to learn and grow from our encounters with you, and that you will be able to take many new experiences and friendships back to your home country.
Studying in the United States can have its challenges. The Buckman Center for International Education hopes to address many of these issues in the pages to the right. We are available to assist you in many ways, from clarifying federal regualtions to things as basic as where to shop for laundry detergent.
The Buckman Center also desires to put you in touch with other international students at Rhodes and on nearby campuses. Several times throughout the year, the Buckman Center will invite you on special outings just for the international student community. We hope you take advantage of these times to connect with other international students on the fun activities we have planned for you.

International Student Orientation: August 20-21, 2008
Plan to arrive in Memphis by the evening of Tuesday, August 19, 2008. International students are permitted to move into their dorm rooms no earlier than 10am on August 18, 2008.
